VéVé Glass, the Venice-based creative workshop founded and directed by artist Paolo
Birello, will present three striking works in Murano Glass at London Design Shoreditch in
the House of Icon venue during the London Design Festival 2025. Known for its
experimental approach and refined craftsmanship, the brand will showcase Spaziotempo,
a new collaborative work with 06D Atelier, alongside Noguchi, designed by Miquel Mariné
and Carles Muro, and the RGB glass divider, both realised under the vision of their
creative director.
The new centerpice, Spaziotempo, conceived by the London-based design duo
06D Atelier, will be unveiled to the public for the first time. Originating from a digital
experiment, the designers used a computer simulation of gravity to generate a series of
forms, selecting one as the basis for a mould crafted by VéVé Glass. In the kiln, natural
forces shape the molten glass in unpredictable ways, ensuring each casting is subtly
unique. The piece evokes the curvature of the space-time fabric, its form shaped by both
simulation and gravity. Traditional Venetian craftsmanship enriches the surface with
murrine and gold dust, their scattered patterns reminiscent of distant galaxies and celestial
constellations.
VéVé Glass’s presentation at London Design Shoreditch offers visitors a glimpse into the
brand’s boundary-pushing ethos, where advanced design processes meet the sensibility of
Venetian glass artistry.
